Role: VIM / AP Consultant

Relevant Experience – 6 to 10 years

JD for VIM / AP Consultant –

• Document Processing: Set up inbound channels (Scan, Email, EDI, IDocs) and integrate with OCR tools like Invoice Capture Center (ICC) & 3^rd Party OCR tool.
• Exception Handling: Troubleshoot invoice discrepancies (e.g., 2-way/3-way matching failures, tax mismatches) and build logic modules for automatic resolution.
• Data Mapping and Validation: VIM maps structured invoice data directly into standard SAP fields, bypassing the need for OCR text extraction. Should have experience to manage / guide Middleware teams on the Data mapping requirements.
• eInvoicing Solution: E-invoices is mandatory legal compliance, required specialized skills to interact with Global tax team and guide on the solution independently.
• Payment Processing: Manage the Vendor payout process with Multiple Banks and Bank Communication Management.
• Workflow Design: Configure complex approval procedures and automated invoice routing (PO/Non-PO/Credit Memo).
• Integration: Connect VIM with related SAP modules (MM, FICO) and external applications for Vendor Invoice postings
• SAP Fiori: Configuring/extending Fiori apps used by the AP team for invoice coding and managerial approvals
• P2P/S2P Cycle: Deep understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes (e.g., FB60, MIRO in SAP).
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with VIM versions (e.g., 7.5, 20.4+), OpenText Archive Server.
