About the Role:

We are looking for passionate and skilled Software Developers to join our Core AI Services team. You will design, develop, and scale AI-enabling platform services and public APIs that are secure, reliable, and cloud-native. These services act as foundational building blocks for AI adoption across our product portfolio and partner ecosystem.

You’ll be part of a Scrum team focused on building innovative, standards-compliant, secure, and production-grade AI capabilities—with the agility of a startup and the impact of a global organization.

Job Title: Senior Engineer / Principal Engineer – AI Core Services Development

Job Location: Bengaluru, India (Hybrid - 3 days/week)

Key Responsibilities:

· Build scalable, fault-tolerant cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure.

· Develop secure, well-documented public APIs and SDKs for internal and external developers.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data pipelines, orchestration, and service APIs.

· Embed strong security controls to protect sensitive data.

· Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions.

· Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of innovation.

· Work on AI model deployment, training, and tooling development.

Core Skills & Qualifications:

· 10+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally in platform or cloud-native service development using Microsoft and .NET technologies.

· Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and associated PaaS services (Azure Functions, AKS, API Management).

· Expertise in RESTful API design, versioning, testing, and lifecycle management.

· Proficiency in API security, authentication/authorization, and data privacy practices.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to handle complex technical challenges.

· Experience in Agile development teams across global R&D environments.

· Proven ability to mentor junior developers and promote continuous learning.

· Demonstrated experience with AI frameworks and tools, including Python.

AI & Cloud Expertise:

· Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and understanding trade-offs between performance, cost, and capability.

· Familiar with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and AI agent orchestration.

· Understanding of AI standards such as MCP and A2A.

· Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

· Knowledge of AI ethics and Responsible AI practices (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act).

· Hands-on with AI orchestration tools (AI Foundry, Semantic Kernel).

· Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
