In the P&P Strategy & Enabling Services area, we develop applications for business customers. Reliability, performance, and unique, user-friendly experiences are especially important to us. Our applications cover services such as letter announcements, automated personalized print mailings, and letter tracking.

What You Will Do

Initially support the functional and methodological leadership of an agile project team, continuously developing yourself to eventually take over leadership of your own team

Contribute to maintaining our agile frameworks and guidelines, working with the team to define and execute delivery planning

Support stakeholders in planning and delivering their backlog, while keeping an eye on the product roadmap together with the Product Owner

Take on administrative responsibilities, including project and budget monitoring

Actively support the team in removing impediments

Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment together with the team, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy management, and security

Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and governance structures to identify and implement improvements

What You Should Bring:

10+ years experience in the ecosystem of Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF)

10+ years experience in cloud platform engineering or SRE roles

Expert-level Terraform — modular architecture, Terraform Cloud, state management, provider development

Deep Azure knowledge — AKS, Key Vault, Storage, PostgreSQL, Networking, RBAC, Service Principals

Kubernetes expertise — Helm, operators, policy engines (Kyverno/OPA), ingress controllers, secrets management

Observability stack — Grafana, Prometheus, Mimir, Tempo, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent distributed tracing/metrics systems

CI/CD — GitHub Actions (writing custom actions and reusable workflows), container registries, GitOps

Git & Version Control: GitHub Enterprise, branching strategies, code review processes

Networking: DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, ingress controllers

Scripting & development — Shell scripting, Go, Python; Dockerfile authoring

Security mindset — Container scanning, secret management, network segmentation, WAF

Ideally, experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), project management, and a passion for software engineering; Microsoft Azure certification is a plus 

+Willingness to develop into a Project Manager / Scrum Master role 

Interest in taking responsibility in innovative projects driving the digitalization of Deutsche Post / DHL 

Strong English skills (written and spoken)
