Overview 

We are looking for a skilled Selenium Automation Consultant with 4-10 years of experience to join our dynamic quality assurance team. In this mid-level role, you will leverage your expertise in automation testing to design, implement, and optimize robust Selenium-based frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery for our innovative projects. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive automation best practices, and contribute to the evolution of our testing strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain comprehensive automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, focusing on web applications and ensuring scalability for enterprise-level testing. 

- Design, enhance, and refactor automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, Data-Driven frameworks) to improve test coverage, reliability, and maintainability. 

- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. 

- Identify and troubleshoot automation script failures, perform root cause analysis, and optimize performance for faster execution times. 

- Mentor junior team members on Selenium best practices, automation tools, and testing methodologies to build team capabilities. 

- Conduct test planning, execution, and reporting using tools like TestNG, JUnit, or ExtentReports, while adhering to agile development cycles. 

- Stay abreast of emerging automation trends and recommend process improvements to enhance overall software quality.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 

- 4-10 years of hands-on experience in software testing automation, with at least 3 years specifically in Selenium WebDriver. 

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for scripting automation tests. 

- Strong understanding of automation frameworks, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and API testing basics. 

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools. 

- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in collaborative settings. 

- Solid communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
