Task Description: Role Summary:

The Principal Project Manager – SAP Security Assessment acts as the senior leader responsible for driving enterprise‑wide SAP security assessment initiatives across DHL’s global logistics and shared services landscape. The role ensures that SAP platforms meet the highest standards of security, compliance, and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program & Project Leadership

 Lead large scale SAP security assessment programs across complex, multinational SAP environments (ECC, S/4HANA, TM, EWM, BW/4HANA, GRC, Solution Manager, BTP).

 Define project scope, resource plans, assessment framework, milestones, and cross tower dependencies.

 Drive structured governance, steering committees, and leadership reporting including KPIs, risks, and mitigation actions.

 Ensure alignment with DHL ITS Project Management Methodology (PMM) and Agile delivery practices where applicable.

2. SAP Security & Controls Assessment

 Lead comprehensive assessments of SAP authorizations, role design, segregation-of-duties (SoD), critical access, emergency access management, and privilege escalations.

 Review SAP system configurations against DHL IT Security Policies, SAP security hardening guidelines.

 Assess HANA DB security, interface/RFC exposure, background jobs, identity federation, l
