We are seeking a skilled Neo4j Database Administrator / Technical Specialist with strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure to manage, optimize, and support graph database environments. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance tuning, and security of Neo4j clusters while leveraging Azure services for deployment and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Neo4j databases in production and development environments.

Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for Neo4j.

Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.

Deploy and manage Neo4j clusters on Azure infrastructure (VMs, Kubernetes, networking, storage).

Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.

Collaborate with development teams to support application integration and performance tuning.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Neo4j DBA or similar role.

Experience of neo4j DB – Enterprise + Aura. 

Experience of GSK Cloud Hosting (Azure)

Experience of GSK CO

Knowledge of key vault and secrets

Ideally but not mandatory, Experience of GSK DDF processes

Good understanding of graph databases and Cypher query language.

Hands-on experience with Azure services (VMs, AKS, networking, storage, monitoring).

Knowledge of Linux administration, scripting (Bash/Python), and automation tools.

Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
