About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer & Technical Product Owner to shape the foundation of our internal supply chain applications. This role blends hands-on development with product stewardship, helping to translate analytics workflows into scalable applications, establish best practices, and define frameworks that will support our growing platform. You will collaborate with internal analysts, product stakeholders, and external vendor teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the design and implementation of internal supply chain applications using Python, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.

· Act as a technical product owner, translating analyst and business requirements into actionable development plans, prioritizing features, and guiding sprints.

· Establish development best practices, frameworks, and reusable components that form the foundation of our growing software platform.

· Collaborate closely with external vendor teams during professional services engagements to ensure their contributions integrate seamlessly with internal systems and workflows.

· Develop, deploy, and maintain AI agents across a variety of platforms to automate workflows, enhance analytics capabilities, and support decision-making.

· Build backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that support analytics workflows, including inventory optimization, network analysis, and other supply chain models.

· Implement testing, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation standards to ensure reliability and maintainability of applications.

· Serve as team SME on technical standards, agile practices, and software development methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

· 3-5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in Python.

· Hands-on experience building scalable, maintainable applications and backend services.

· Experience establishing frameworks, coding standards, and development best practices in a growing team.

· Proficiency with CI/CD, version control, and development workflows.

· Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

· Proven ability to balance hands-on development with product ownership responsibilities.

· Exposure to analytics pipelines, data modeling, or optimization workflows.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

· Experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations technology.

· Experience deploying or integrating AI/ML agents into applications.

· Comfortable developing and deploying applications and AI agents on GCP, leveraging Vertex AI to integrate machine learning capabilities into internal supply chain analytics tools.

· Experience mentoring developers or guiding technical decisions for small teams.

· Comfortable operating in a startup-like environment with evolving priorities.
