Position: Infrastructure Security Platforms Architect

Location: Chennai, Pune

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-wide security monitoring, detection, and response solutions using Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Defender XDR.
• Develop and maintain security architecture standards, reference architectures, and implementation roadmaps for cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
• Lead the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Microsoft security platforms to improve threat visibility and incident response capabilities.
• Architect and implement scalable security solutions in Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring alignment with security and compliance requirements.
• Integrate security tools, log sources, and threat intelligence feeds into centralized monitoring platforms.
• Design and implement automated security controls and workflows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Establish vulnerability management processes leveraging Nessus and other security assessment tools.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and security operations teams to embed security into infrastructure and application lifecycles.
• Develop security dashboards, reports, use cases, detection rules, and threat-hunting capabilities.
• Perform security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and security control validation activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to security engineers and platform administrators.
• Support compliance, audit, and governance initiatives by ensuring security controls are effectively implemented and monitored.
• Stay current with emerging threats, security technologies, and industry best practices.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Microsoft Sentinel
• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• Microsoft Defender for Cloud
• Microsoft Defender for Identity
• Microsoft Defender for Office 365
• Microsoft Defender XDR
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Azure security architecture and cloud-native security services.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as:
• Terraform
• Azure Bicep
• ARM Templates
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, and threat detection technologies.
• Experience integrating security platforms with enterprise infrastructure and third-party security tools.
• Proficiency in vulnerability management using Nessus.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as:
• NIST CSF
• CIS Controls
• ISO 27001
• MITRE ATT&CK
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking, identity and access management, cloud security, and security operations.
